Kristina’s mother’s words, “Baby…monsters are real, and they look just like people,” are burnt in her memory. It’s a warning about the real world. A place in which Kristina’s self-inflicted curse forces her to see the unbearable darkness. Despite, the rebukes of everyone, including her therapist, Kristina knows vampires are real! And, she will not stop until she has destroyed them all.
