In Die!  Bloodsuckers, Die! art is a subtle but important undercurrent.

Several characters including the protagonist, Kristina James, @SkoolGrrl,  express themselves through their artistic abilities. During her confinement in the Stewart-Hoffman Institute, Kristina uses her drawing skills as a mental wellness tool against the bloodsuckers. It allows her to release the horrifying imagery that floods her thoughts.  Even though the art is disturbing and violent it helps to ease her mental anguish. She likes pen and ink but, mostly addicted to pencil sketches. A flip through her sketchbook shows drawings of traumatic events and renderings drenched in allusions and symbolism.

Another character of major importance, Eyan, Kristina’s ally against the bloodsuckers, exorcises his demons through painting dark and horrifying depictions of occult and horror symbolism. Although the glimpses of his art will be brief, look closely because it will show the true nature of his character and how his influence will affect Kristina.
